Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT)
BEAT (Borough of Ealing Art Trail) is in its 10th year.
In 2025 we had a huge number of artists taking part – over 220 artists exhibiting within 66 venues across the borough.
This year’s BEAT exhibition dates are 5 & 6 and 12 & 13 September, with an optional extra evening opening on 9 September.
Are you interested in being a BEAT artist this year? No matter what your medium – painting, photography, woodwork, sculpture, glass, ceramics, metal, textiles, print, mosaics, collage – if you live, work or study in the London Borough of Ealing you are eligible to take part.
The Application process is now open, and closes on 16 March. See BEAT’s website www.ealingbeat.org.uk/ for full details. We look forward to welcoming you!

Watercolour Painting
A friendly watercolour class. All levels welcome. We paint a variety of subjects including landscape, still life, figure and abstract compositions.

FLORAL DESIGN DEMONSTRATIONS
18 March: Our AGM is followed by a talk by Andrea Bugari titled Ethno-botany. Come and see what that means; I’m sure you will be surprised!
15 April: In-house trio, titled NAFAS & NASO. I wonder what that will entail?
20 May: Scott Margetts, a professional photographer, will give a talk on his photographs and how to take better photos. Could prove to be very useful!

Ealing Quilters Thursdays
19 March: Log Cabin, giving the illusion of curves – build on existing skills and create the illusion of curves. Please bring two coordinating fabrics, threads and your sewing kit.
16 April: We’ll look at Sashiko. Please bring some navy fabric, Sashiko threads and needles if you have them, and your hand sewing kit.
21 May: Disappearing 4 patch designs. Please bring along your rotary cutter, ruler and mat, and several machine-stitched 4 patch blocks to be cut into the demonstrated patterns and restitched.
